Easter Egg Hunt

The Saturday before Easter is the popular Easter Egg Hunt. Organized and sponsored by the Veneta Park Board and Fern Ridge Kiwanis, this event attracts about 200-400 children. More information can be found on the City of Veneta website.
Flowers on Broadway

The Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Veneta is pleased to present the beautiful flower baskets throughout West Broadway. These flower baskets are sponsored by local businesses and residents.
Veneta Downtown Farmers Market
May-October
The farmer’s market season runs from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October. Shop local farm produce and artisan vendors. Check out the schedule for live music and children’s events. The market accepts debit and credit cards and Oregon Trail cards. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Oregon Country Fair
The second weekend of July
The OCF is an annual three-day festival offering entertainment, hand-made crafts, food, and information sharing. The Fair takes place in a wooded setting about a mile outside Veneta. Visit the Oregon Country Fair website for more information.
Chili Cook-off
Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce announces the return of the Harvest Festival and Chili Cook-off. September 14th, 2024
This is a fun, family-friendly event to celebrate the beginning of fall! as well as food trucks, artists, vendors, live music, a beer garden, Kiwanis Kruise-In Classic Car Show and the Chili Cook-off will all be a part of the downtown Veneta Harvest Festival.
Funds from a portion of the day’s activities go to local nonprofit, Mid Lane Cares, to assist with the cost of the community service programs they provide.

Join the Fern Ridge Community at the Annual Veneta Harvest Festival! This one-day event features merchant, booths, live music, breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Fern Ridge Service Center, and a quilt show.

Veneta Tree Lighting
This annual tree lighting is organized by the Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce and takes place at Veneta Elementary school and includes music by the local school kids as well as a special visit from Santa. Celebrate the event with your family and friends and spread cheer and joy! December 5th, 2024
Veneta Light Parade
The annual 19th annual light parade is organized by the Veneta-Fern Ridge Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy the creatively decorated fire trucks, cars, floats, and approximately 40 other brightly adorned vehicles as they wind through downtown. The parade route is staging 8th St Jack Kelly Drive Westbound, R on Territorial Hwy, R on Hunter Ave, R on 3rd St, R on McCutcheon Ave, L on 2nd St, L West Broadway, ends on 8th Street & Jack Kelley Drive. We invite our neighbors in the Veneta-Fern Ridge communities to participate in our Christmas decoration Tour of Lights. Businesses and residents are encouraged to join in on the fun and get decked out for the holidays.
